Alison Barry is the Founder and CEO of WorldTutors: Virtually Everywhere, a rapidly growing global tutoring and mentorship initiative expanding access to high-quality academic support for underserved students. Since 2023, she has built a scalable model that combines structured instruction with relationship-based mentorship, delivering measurable academic growth, increased confidence, and life-changing opportunity to students across communities and continents.
A lifelong leader in education and service, Alison is also the founder of Wonderland BookSavers, Inc., a youth-driven 501(c)(3) organization that has delivered over 1.2 million books, along with critical educational and humanitarian resources, to communities from the Oglala Lakota reservations in South Dakota to rural villages in Uganda. Her work consistently transforms access into opportunity.
As former President of the Pequot Library Association and recipient of the Hoyt O. Perry, Jr. Lifetime Service Award, Alison brings proven leadership and vision. A homeschooling mother of eight children, all of whom attended top universities, Alison blends practical teaching experience with a visionary approach to scalable educational impact. Led by Alison, the WorldTutors: Virtually Everywhere team is driven by a singular mission: to expand educational opportunity and unlock potential for students worldwide.
